It's amazing to see how he has improved during this time, from barely knowing the ABC, he is now reading books. Hayley is always patient, friendly, sympathetic and highly motivated. Hayley taught all of my 5 children. Coming from an Anglo home but being immersed in Hebrew at school, I wanted to ensure that their level of English was high and not too behind their contemporaries in the UK. English is an essential and beneficial skill for them to have and Hayley taught them strong basics and gave them a head start in the reading and language. They enjoyed being in groups of similar minded Anglos and the lessons were stimulating and they progressed quickly. Hayley also taught some of them privately once they finished the group chug. Hayley has tremendously improved my children's English level and we have seen results after just a few months! She has taught them reading, writing, comprehension and enriched their vocabulary. Their level is similar to a child growing up in an English-speaking country at their age. Her patience, lesson structure and innovative assignments have kept the children engaged throughout the year.

Hayley taught my children English privately. She was always organized, calm, and able to figure out what each individual child needed. It’s rare that a child wants to have extra lessons outside of school hours, but Hayley managed to find the perfect balance of content for her classes so that they never dreaded learning with her and I never had to force them to study. They loved her classes and still talk of her fondly!

Both my sons (now 10 & 14) started going to English class (group lessons) with Hayley when they were four years old. By the time they were six they were reading full chapter books. I felt the lessons were well planned, the kids enjoyed going, and Hayley's communication with the parents was great too. Hayley was lovely and patient, her lessons combined fun with learning to keep the kids engaged. The room they learn in felt like a real little classroom - a place of learning but friendly and non-threatening for such little kids. I highly recommend her classes.

Hayley taught all three of my sons the foundations of English. Although we always spoke English at home, my children were in Hebrew speaking nursery schools / school. From the basic ABC, to both reading and writing, Hayley taught my sons in a fun, relaxed environment. They left each lesson feeling accomplished (and even prepared to do their homework)! Hayley’s kind, caring, calm nature was especially appreciated for my son with learning difficulties and special needs.

Hayley taught our twin girls (individually) English a few years ago. Her patience, and her willingness to help them succeed, gave them the grounding in English that they needed. Highly recommended.

 

All 3 of my children participated in Hayley's weekly Chug for Gan Chova age children when they were 5 years old. They learned all the ABCs and then moved on to all the foundations of reading. Hayley is a professional, calm, experienced teacher who is full of patience. Her group program was both fun and stimulating. As small kids, my children never saw it as a formal lesson, but rather as a super interesting, fun weekly activity. My children were all born in Israel and as Olim ourselves, we know how important it is to instill a strong English Foundation in early childhood. My kids started elementary school with a solid platform from which to grow. Thank you so much Hayley.

Our family made Aliyah from the UK last summer and our youngest, Noa, was about to go into grade one in London. Going into a Hebrew speaking environment, we wanted to make sure she kept up with the English reading and writing she had been learning in a school environment. Noa is now 6.5yrs old and has attended Hayley’s lessons since the start of the school year, once a week. Noa’s writing, spelling and reading have really improved. She has enjoyed being in a classroom type environment which she didn’t get by having to go into Gan chova. Hayley is calm and patient and the learning environment is one in which Noa feels comfortable and relaxed. Hayley has also been open to changing up the lessons and apart from spelling and writing, using online tools to help Noa learn.

I highly recommend Hayley for teaching English both in small groups and pairs. Hayley has a great teaching environment set up separate from her home with easy parking right outside. Hayley plans lessons well, my son enjoyed his lessons with his friends and progressed well. He arrived from England having finished nursery and is now in grade 4 and is equally happy reading and writing in English and Hebrew.

 

You offer very effective half hour 1:1 lessons that have propelled my 8 year old son to unbelievable levels of English reading, writing and vocabulary. He's ploughing through very high level books . This is one of the most effective and successful 30 minutes of his week. Thanks to your flexibility and superb teaching style.

Hayley is a great tutor. Hayley was able to work out what area my daughter needed additional support and showed a real interest in her progress. She was positive and motivated my daughter to do her best and made resources to support her. Can’t recommend her enough! X

I highly recommend Hayley for English lessons. Hayley is an incredible teacher. Her lessons are fun and enjoyable - My 7 year old who cannot sit for 2 minutes when it comes to working but Hayley magically got him to sit and learn. We started with 30 minute sessions and after 3 lessons made it 45 minutes. He has improved so much in such a short time.

As English parents to Israeli-born children it was a priority for us that our kids would learn to read English just as they would have done in the UK. Hayley's background and experience was perfect for this. Each of our children started with her fun group lessons from age 5, learning letters, phonics and reading, and then we continued with private lessons/pairs as they got older. She always adapted to their interests, including lessons on different themes to keep them engaged while working on reading and writing, and handwriting lessons for my daughter. She has tremendous patience and lots of experience with children at all levels and stages. Thanks to Hayley they all got a solid foundation in reading and writing which has served them well.

My son, Guy, has been going to classes with Hayley for 3 years now. Going in he barely knew how to read and write and now he can do both and his vocabulary has improved a lot. Thanks to these classes, he is now in the English speaking class at school and feels confident to speak. We are very satisfied with Hayley’s approach to teaching and to the kids. Both my 9 year old and 6 year old have been having 1:1 lessons with Hayley for the past couple of years. Hayley is a qualified teacher from London and this was of upmost importance when I was looking for someone, that they are qualified. She is encouraging, patient, reliable and communicates about their progress. She also makes the lessons fun and both my children have excelled with her!

We met Hayley almost a year ago when our daughter (11 years old) faced hard times during the English lessons in school. We started slowly with lots of patience from Hayley’s side, short lessons, then we increased the time, in order to let her develop her confidence. Then “corona time” touched us all, but we went on with Zoom lessons after a short break. Hayley was ready to go on via Zoom, which was a great help for us. I have to say that our daughter enjoys English, she is happy to meet Hayley on a weekly basis, via Zoom or in a 1:1 lesson and her English has improved very much.

I highly recommend Hayley as an excellent English teacher. My daughter is a native English speaker who made Aliyah aged 3, and Hayley has taught her to read and write. Working weekly in a calm, enjoyable private half hour lesson, she has enabled my daughter to read and write confidently. Now just 8, she is reading fast and fluently. Hayley is a highly experienced skilled teacher and is very conveniently located in a lovely relaxed home classroom.
